Welcome to Green Mountain church of Christ

Our women, and women in the community from all walks of life, gather the on Saturday mornings typically the first and third week to learn from the Word of God from 9:00 to 10: am.

These textual or topical studies are open for questions and conversations with Biblical content. We are always in search of benevolent, missionary and evangelistic opportunities in the community. Great friendships and fellowship take place in these studies. We share our burdens, encourage one another and learn about God. There is always coffee and an opportunity to share our  ives with each other

Please join us Wednesday evenings. This is a great time to get into a textural or topical study of a book or subject in the Bible and get those hard questions answered. This study is a wonderful forum for group discussion while lingering over water, coffee, tea, and treats. We meet at 7 pm for an hour; but frequently stay longer. Friendships begin and grow strong in these studies. We love to dive deep into the Word of God.

On the first Wednesday of every month at 6 pm we have a "Simple Supper" gathering as the family of God. Come, join in, and have a great meal  and study with us. 

If you are feeling like this is what you want yet feel like all the unknowns of coming to a new place may be overwhelming. We will come to you and go through the bible with you individually in finding answers to your questions. Who knows, you may find a new friend or two.

We love to work one on one with individuals or families seeking to understand who God is, what God is about, and how God impacts our lives

 Are you thinking that  you want to do more research on your own and feel like you might not be ready to visit our congregation or for that matter any congregation? 

We would like to offer you an opportunity where you can learn about God in your own home and at your own pace. World Bible School is free. 

No one will contact you outside of your facilitator. He or she who will only encourage you to complete the courses. This will only be done electronically and there is no pressure.

We are compassionate for distressed people in our community. We understand that situations arise unexpectantly and at times are unavoidable. We are here to help in those times. We also know that Jesus desires us to teach the Gospel, and so we provide both when we help. It is important to understand it will come with an obligation of the recipient's time to hear a simple message of hope. If you are in need of food don't hesitate to come by our building. We have a benevolence box of food that sits outside our building. Help yourself and take what you need we only ask that you consider others who may have a need as well 

This local body of Christ believes strongly that men and women need to work to be physically, emotionally, and spiritually healthy.

 We provide Christian Counseling. This includes spiritual counseling, premarital and marriage counseling. We use a tool called Prepare & Enrich in our analysis of individuals. 

We also offer parenting education using Love & Logic. We also provide grief counseling, there are even opportunities to learn personal financial management through "Financial Peace University." Last, if you need help with the loss of a loved one regarding a religious funeral, celebration of life, or even interment call; you do not need to be a member here to get help in this deep time of distress.
